MEN DON'T CARE

I am a big boy.
I now wear pants.
Things I know, but
I just won't cry.
She said,
I need to be brave.
But do I like it?
The doctor comes to visit,
Am sent out to play.
I know she is not ill.
But there's bills to be paid.
He never came back.
But she has been brave.
So will I try.
I just won't cry.

THE DUDE

Bespectacled specimen.
A creature so low.
A shame on the human race.
Long flanneled trousers.
May drop any time,
Now or then.
And vested tees-
Or is it just the vest?
With accentuated rib-cage.
The smile's a beauty!
Showoff on the
Plaque infested teeth.
Makes it necessary for me
To talk a distance away
Two feet from him.
There lies a danger
Of fainting to the smell.
Yet Good Lord,
He struts his stuff,
How smoothly so!
Brewing with confidence
And feels happiness
In whatever he does.
I appreciate,
I really do.

QUIT NEVER

Many twists and turns.

Life won’t ever be the same.

But only after breakpoint

Are you set for game.

We have to soldier on

And never quit lane.

Only then will we

Ever achieve our aim.

With difficult choices

We may falter again.

But keep your head high

And forego all pain.

Soon the clouds will clear by

And so will the cold rain.

The sun will cast a rainbow.

Life won’t ever be the same.
